Niyola comes out with her first piece for 2017. The beautiful thing is how this song is not an ordinary one. One listen and anyone could understand this is beyond for listening pleasure or music for music. “Where Is The Love” is a song of awaking, a song with a message to humanity. Niyola like a prophetess reminds us of what it should be and where we are failing as humans.
She uses a lot of questions to awaken sleeping minds and tug at lost souls. Her essence is to sensitize and conscientize the populace. I think this song should get some sort of national recommendation and should be constantly played on all airwaves. She lends Adekunle‘s golden voice to add to her melody to bring out this powerful piece.
“Where is the love and unity and the peace that used to be. Where I the love, where is the laughter, where is the life that we were promised?” I swear, these questions got me thinking deep.
“A dream of people working together, tolerating one another but I am scared to think of what may be if we don’t pursue the peace we are seeking.”
Let me not bore you, listen to what I say is my best collabo for the year, I see no song beating this; all things considered.
