Awon Temi – MVP

MVP Militia is back at it again with some more Afro-Trap music for the streets! MVP’s 2016 TUSH (Turnt Until Something Happens) E.P. was lit! it  featured Ycee and Koker, amongst others. His new track, ‘Awon Temi,’ has MVP sounding very “international.” As his first single of 2017, MVP is set for a  major run on the Naija hip-hop scene.

”Awon temi” is a street slang, meaning “Where my people at?” in Yoruba. Sounds like MVP has a chip on his shoulder! He raps about his goons, about people being real, trying to “get that paper,” and overall, his current state of mind. He’s out here chasing his dreams!

There’s no question about it…I love hip hop! I also love the fact that we have a lot of emcees out here really representing. MVP is on my list of rappers to look out for this year. ‘Awon Temi’ is produced by Jagz Nation’s producer, CiqSounds, so you already know the beat will bang. The lyrical content may be lacking, and Afro-Trap seems to be the new wave, but I’m anxious to see what else MVP will bring this year! Listen well and let us know if u feel it!
