The Ireland-based Ebiy Hogan (real name – Ebelechukwu Emilian Hogan) was born in Anambra state, Nigeria, but grew up in Lagos until her teenage years when she relocated to Ireland to complete her education; Music to a great extent, has always reflected the several influences on the musician over a period of time and such influences include childhood, culture, environment, people, relationships, beliefs, morals, exposure and more.
With her unique sound which reflects authentic diversity and a fine blend of several influences across borders; Ebiy Hogan set out on her musical career by singing and writing songs at the early age of 11; though possessing the natural skills and passion for writing and arts in general, she decided to improve herself and refine her raw talents, thereby acquiring professional knowledge in Stagewise School of Music & Arts, one of the most recognized and leading schools in Ireland for Music and Arts. It was in Stagewise that she got the opportunity to meet and work with Robert Hyman, a top Irish composer, lyricist and musical director, who is also a Creative Director in the West End Musical Theatre in the United Kingdom; the S2DB Entertainment managed performing artiste has since been featured on a song titled “Funk With Me,” with an A-list Irish artist by the name, Gianni Kapela, of Mercury Records, which topped several charts in Ireland.
