Dauntless in his act, Warri-born rapper, Meitwan (real name – Iyakoregha Meitongha Daniel), who is in affiliation with the South-South musical outfit, Magic City Gang Music, lets out his “Igimo” single to officially begin his 2016 musical campaign; with not so many in line of this heroic act, the Chemical Engineering graduate of Imo State Polytechnic puts out an offering served with the Ijaw dialect. Featuring Chief Allen (an Ijaw Traditional musician), “Igimo” which means “dance” in the Ijaw dialect, is a fusion of Rap and Ijaw cultural vibes over a Dancehall beat brought forth by Nigeria’s Number 1 female disc jockey/producer, DJ Toxiq; Meitwan is set to feature on DJ Toxiq’s forthcoming EP and also has lined up, a series of singles as well as covers and videos scheduled for release in the coming months. With the visuals to “Igimo” coming our way real soon, the offering boasts of additional production from newly-signed Magic City Gang Music producer, Maro Klassic, who’s also credited for the mixing and mastering of this tune; listen up and share your thoughts. | ENJOY!!!
